Fillers

The simplest way to hide small lower eyelid bags and excessive visibility of the lower eye socket margin is injection of a filler in the "tear trough" or over the entire inferior orbital margin. This is done in the office.

This is a delicate area because of the proximity of the eye, and because the slightest irregularity can be unsightly. Sometimes swelling persists for more than a few days. Different fillers can be used in this area, each with their advantages and disadvantages.
