Mini-facelift, blepharoplasty and lipofilling

During the same operative time we performed a limited facelift (MACS-lift), operative correction of the upper eyelids (so-called "ptosis"), and lipofilling to the face.
In a limited facelift the incision is made at the hairline at the temples, at the inset of the auricle and behind the tragus (the little valve in front of the ear). After undermining of the skin, the deeper soft tissues are gathered and suspended in a more superior position. Hence the volume of the cheeks is repositioned higher over the cheekbone. The nasolabial folds are corrected and the part of the cheeks that sags over the border of the jaw is repositioned.
