Crow's feet, frowning wrinkles, "bar codes" in the lips and other wrinkles are caused by continuous action of muscles and gravity on the skin, which gradually looses elasticity.
In some areas these muscles can be weakened simply bij injections. Other wrinkles can be treated better with fillers. Both types of treatment can be performed in the office. There is almost no downtime.
Some pigmentation problems, such as liver spots, can be treated with intense pulsed light (IPL).
Couperose and spider veins (telangiectasia) in the face and on the limbs can be treated with IPL or a laser, depending on the area to treat and vessel caliber.
When the skin presents with diffuse fine wrinkling, liver spots and local hardening, a laser treatment, that vaporises a very thin layer or little points of skin, can improve skin texture and pigmentation and make some wrinkles less deep.
