Gummy Smile: Treatment by Muscle Weakening

Because on smiling too much gingiva of the upper lip was visible, this lady's upper lip was treated with a small dose of a muscle weakening product. Only the muscles that elevate the lip, just lateral to the wings of the nose, have been weakened. The other smiling muscles and oral closure are not involved.
It may take a while to get used to the new way of smiling. It does not remain unnoticed to people who know the person well.
This lady had her frown wrinkles treated during the same session.
