This gentleman's gynecomastia consisted of fat and breast tissue. Therefore liposculpture was performed, followed by surgical removal of glandular tissue through an incision around the lower half of the areolas.
The spots around the little scars are due to a different tan. It is good practice to protect immature (red) scars with extra care from the sun (ultraviolet light), eg. with plasters, to avoid pigmentation problems such as uneven hyperpigmentation.
