The slightest descent of low-positioned eyebrows adds to the size of the skin fold of the upper eyelid. It may lead to a heavy feeling in the forehead or the upper eyelids.
Under local anaesthesia, through small incisions in the hair-baring part of the temples, non-resorbable sutures were inserted. They lift the lateral aspects of the eyebrows slightly while preserving natural eyebrow mobility.
Eyelid opening was improved and the heavy feeling has disappeared.
