Nose correction by injection with fillers

This young lady has a deviation of the cartilaginous part of the nasal skeleton. This caused a visible ridge on the right side of the nose and an impression on the nasal dorsum, without important consequences for breathing.
An injection of 1,1 ml. of filler was performed in between the muscle layer and the skeleton of the nose in two sessions with an interval of one week. This treatment was performed in the office. The result after seven months is displayed in the middle of each series of three pictures. More injections were performed to a total of 0,6 ml., again in two sessions. The result can be seen on the right.
Fillers can cause some temporary swelling. Therefore it is useful to perform the treatment in several, small steps.
