Tummy Tuck (Abdominoplasty) Liposculpture, repair of Umbilical Hernia and Muscle Correction

Liposculpture (aspiration of fat excess) was performed on the waistline and the lower back.
An umbilical hernia (subcutaneous displacement of abdominal content) was repaired. Abdominal muscles, which had moved away from the midline, were surgically restored in their original position. The aponeurosis of the external oblique abdominal muscles was tightened.
Finally, the abdominoplasty was performed. The skin below the belly-button was removed. The remaining soft tissues were pulled down to cover the lower half of the tummy. The belly-button was reconstructed.
The dark scar is typical for the situation a few months after the operation. The red or pink colour disappears over one to two years.
Age category: 30 - 34 years.
