Tummy Tuck (Abdominoplasty) with Liposculpture and Muscle Correction

Modern techniques allow us to combine liposculpture (aspiration of fat excess) with surgical removal of skin excess. Without liposculpture, it is difficult to pull the skin and a thick layer of fat on the upper half of the tummy all the way down to cover the lower half.
Abdominal muscles which moved away from the midline are surgically restored in their original position. This enhances the waistline and restores the possibility to train the abdominal wall muscles efficiently.
Finally, the skin below the belly-button is removed. The remaining soft tissues are pulled down to cover the lower half of the tummy. The belly-button is put back in its original position.
The dark scar is typical for the situation a few months after the operation. The red or pink colour disappears over one to two years.
Age category: 30 - 34 years.
