Breast augmentation by lipofilling (fat transplantation)

This lady underwent breast augmentation by lipofilling. Loca fat deposits were removed by gentle liposculpture from the waistline, the hips, the abdomen, the anterior an inner aspect of the thighs and the inner aspect of the knees. The fat was filtered and injected through stab incisions of at most three millimetres on the border of the areola and at the base of the breast. The fat was injected in the subcutaneous tissue and in the muscle under the breast, while creating tunnels in the breast tissue was avoided.
The fat was distributed homogeneously over the surface and the base of the entire breast. In the standing position, the improvement to the fullness of the upper part of the breast that is mainly apparent. A subtle breast augmentation has an important aesthetic effect on the cleavage area.
In breast that are sagging somewhat, the volume of the upper parts may seem to have disappeared. This is the most common reason for a request to lift the breasts. Regrettably, breast lifting is not possible without creating clearly apparent scars. Augmentation with autologous fat does not treat the sagging, but the improved volume may still be a nice enhancement, without large scars.
