Upper eyelid correction

This patient had a correction to the upper lids under local anaesthesia. Skin excess was removed.
The skin and muscle tissue were surgically attached to the deeper layer of the eyelid in the natural lid crease, so that the skin fold cannot glide over the eyelashes any more.
This kind of operation causes more temporary swelling than simple skin excision alone.
Age category: 40 - 44 years.
