This lady developed progressive sagging of her right upper eyelid by weakening of the muscle which opens the eyelid. On the left, the same problem was beginning to arise. Under local anaesthesia the connection between the muscle and the eyelid border was shortened and some skin excess was removed. There was also some drooping of eyebrows, also more on the left than on the right. The lateral aspects of the eyebrows were suspended with non-resorbable sutures in the tissues. The effect is most noticeable in the 3/4 images.
